Navajo Pride brand alfalfa, as with all of our products, is guaranteed to be the highest quality on the market today. Navajo Pride alfalfa is produced in five major categories to provide a variety of uses and prices for our customers: Supreme, Premium, Good, Fair, and Cow Hay. We can provide the best type of alfalfa to fit your needs and budget.

Supreme: Primarily used by the dairy industry and is harvested in pre-bloom state and must have a protein level of 22 percent or greater with a relative feed value (RFV) of 190 or higher.

Premium: This grade is used by dairy farms and in monitored amounts for horses. It is also harvested at pre-bloom state and must have a protein level of 20-22 percent and a RFV of 170-189.

Good: Primarily used by horse owners and is harvested at 10 percent bloom. Good alfalfa will have a protein level of 18-20 percent. The RFV ranges from 160-169.

Fair: Best suited for feeding dry cows and other livestock. The protein is at 16-18 percent with a RFV of 150-159.

Cow Hay: Suited for feeding dry cows and other livestock. The protein is less than 16 percent with a RFV less than 149.

Navajo Pride brand alfalfa is available in two bale sizes: 3-Twine Bales are 16x22x46 and Big Bales are 3x4x8. Whether your shipment is large or small, Navajo Pride will be able to meet your needs while providing the highest quality products available for large shipments.
