Public Statement of NAPI Board of Directors – 4/16/18

FARMINGTON, NM – On January 12, 2018, the Navajo Agricultural Products Industry (“NAPI”) Board of Directors placed Wilton Charley, the Chief Executive Officer of NAPI on temporary suspension pending on internal investigation into alleged complaints the NAPI Board of Directors received concerning the management of NAPI. The NAPI Board of Directors completed its investigation last week. Mr. Charley was absolved of any wrongdoing.
Mr. Charley notified the NAPI Board of Directors that he wanted to pursue other endeavors and formally submitted his resignation to the NAPI Board of Directors. On April 9, 2018, the NAPI Board of Directors formally accepted the resignation of Wilton Charley as the Chief Executive Officer of NAPI. The NAPI Board of Directors wishes Mr. Charley all the best in his future endeavors and thanks him for his contributions to NAPI.
The NAPI Board of Directors has delegated Darryl Multine to serve as the acting-Chief Executive Officer in the interim as the NAPI Board of Directors initiates the process of selecting a new Chief Executive Officer.
